On our Youth & Young Adult Sunday Service, our Bro. Von Borilla, empowered us with the Word of God from the book of Matthew 5:14-16. In this message we also learned how the glory of God is continuously  manifesting in His life through his life testimony. The overflowing blessings and miracles upon miracles are being unfolded everyday as he continue to live Jesus in his everyday life. How CRAZY are you about JESUS?

We celebrate Christmas because the Savior of our souls has been born in the city of David. It doesn’t matter what form of celebration you want to be or where you want to celebrate. The Bible gives us the original Christmas story. It will be found in the book of Luke 2:8-14. 

This Christmas, it will make a difference to reflect on God’s grace in your life and to recommit yourself to knowing and loving him better is a great way to make Christmas more meaningful.

DECEMBER 1, 2019

You and I have been given the awesome promise and presence of the Holy Spirit living inside us to enable us to achieve everything that God has set out for us. The Holy Spirit will help us remove those roadblocks when we ask for His help. But the Holy Spirit will not override personal will or sovereignly remove these roadblocks unless we invite him to help us. Pastor Jim shared about this topic from the book of Hebrew 12:1-2.

The bible is clearly saying what will be tomorrow is being determined by the choices we make today. Character doesn’t bloom suddenly..  Jesus pleads with us. He invites us and urges us to receive him. But he will do no more. Jesus never enters where he is not invited. Jesus has nothing to do when we refuse to hear his voice and open the door for Him.  As believers and followers of Christ we get so comfortable inside the box that we tend to forget what is the true purpose of our calling. God did not call us to be comfortable. We need to take up the cross and follow Him. We are called to lead the people to His kingdom and for His glory alone. On this Youth & Young Adult Sunday Service, Sis. Joyce Tajan shared the Word of God with the topic of "Out Of The Box" from the book of Matthew 14:22-29.

 Our lives will likewise be frustrated unless we allow Christ to have complete control. By practicing lordship, however, we can live life to the full with Jesus Christ in complete control, because He knows what’s down the road, over the hill, and around the turn. He’s been there, He can guide us safely along the way.

To live your best life now, you must act on your well, not simply your emotions. Sometimes that means you have to take steps of faith even when you are hurting, grieving, or still reeling from some attack of the enemy. No matter how many times you get knocked down, keep getting back up. God sees your resolve. He sees your determination. And when you do everything you can do, that’s when God will step in and do what you can’t do.

 Culture is a product of the language, ideals, and values of a people or a nation. Even though people cannot recognize us as kingdom citizens by our outward appearance, our distinctive language, ideals, and values should give us away. Our culture should reflect and reveal our citizenship as being here but not from here, as being in the world but not of the world. This is what Kingdom Concept is and what our mindsets should be as Ambassadors of Christ.

 An attitude of thankfulness will go a long way toward reducing stress and keeping you well. We can learn to develop this thankful attitude when misfortune comes as well as when things run smoothly. When was the last time you felt grateful for the simple conveniences of your life? Think about it. There is so much in our lives to be grateful for that we are often blind to it.

Serving definitely has rewards, and they are numerous. They far outweigh the consequences. When we think about them, they motivate us to keep going. It is not for our own glory that faithful service is so clearly prescribed throughout Scripture but for the glory of God.  No selfless act is so small, no good deed so insignificant, that God cannot see and approve. After all, what we do as servants is not for men’s eyes.
